Why I Started Curated Gifts

Corporate gifting has become predictable. Conventional hampers, mass-produced products and the same familiar formats repeated year after year - often sent more out of routine than genuine appreciation.

But away from supermarket shelves and traditional corporate hamper suppliers, something far more exciting has been happening within the UK’s food and drink scene. Independent founders are building remarkable brands - producers prioritising quality, creativity and craft, often without the visibility they deserve.

Curated Gifts was born from my belief that corporate gifting can deliver meaningful impact without compromising elegance.

Food has always been a big part of my world. Over the years I’ve explored a number of food ventures driven by curiosity and creativity. Most recently, I founded Gaffa’s Grill, a BBQ catering concept specialising in corporate parties and summer events - bringing people together through great food and shared experiences.

Alongside developing my own food concept, I spent time working at Mission Kitchen, a community supporting early-stage food and drink businesses. Being surrounded by founders building the next generation of brands gave me a front-row seat to the incredible talent emerging within the independent food scene.

What struck me most was how many exceptional producers remain undiscovered. That insight planted the seed for Curated Gifts.

I realised that corporate gifting budgets - often used for traditional corporate hampers - could instead introduce employees and clients to exciting new products and the makers behind them.

Curated Gifts brings these discoveries together through thoughtfully curated corporate gift boxes featuring independent food and drink brands. Each collection is built around concept-led themes inspired by the cultural calendar - from International Women’s Day and Black History Month to seasonal celebrations and sustainability initiatives.

These themed Editions give organisations an easy way to recognise teams, engage clients and mark meaningful moments throughout the year through more thoughtful employee gifting and client gifting.

Alongside these collections, I also work with organisations on bespoke corporate gifting projects -designing tailored gift boxes around specific briefs, campaigns and brand objectives.

At its heart, Curated Gifts is about reimagining corporate gifting and making it more meaningful by sparking discovery and connection, while supporting the independent makers and diverse founders shaping the future of food and drink.

Because corporate gifting should feel far more exciting than another predictable hamper.
